Due to the seasonal nature of our business, our busy time usually runs from May through November.   Cattlemens is a perfect fit for college students, winter resort workers or anyone desiring summer employment.

Cattlemens is a Mobile Food Service contractor to the USDA Forest Service which means the work-site is normally located in remote areas of the country.  

Cattlemens Meat Company provides transportation to and from fire camp, bunkhouse living accommodations, washers & dryers and meals while on site.  

We provide time and a half pay for all hours above 40 hrs per week.

We offer a competitive wage, exciting travel opportunities, and a safe and friendly work environment.  We have many employees that return season after season.

If you live in the greater Boise Idaho area and:

• • • • can lift and carry up to 50 pounds
      • can work 12 to 16 hour days
      • be able and willing to be away from home for up to 45 days at a time
      • can frequently be on your feet for eight (8) hours or more at a time
      • are able to leave for a job within 4 hours of being contacted
